The 4800 foot elevation and spectacular view from the comfort of this beautifully decorated log home will relax and restore you. You will enjoy the moutaintop serenity from the covered porch. The swing hanging under the deck provides a shaded and breezy place to enjoy the spectacular views.

This secluded location is a short walk to the Blue Ridge Parkway. And, on a clear day, you can easily see the real “Cold Mountain” from the livingroom at Smoky Sunrise.

Smoky Sunrise offers a new hot tub on the huge open deck plus a Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. This spacious home has two bedrooms (each with a king-sized bed) and a sleeping loft (queen), three bathrooms, full kitchen, and stone fireplace. The vaulted ceilings and wall of windows surround you with light and the panoramic view extends twenty to forty miles to the east depending on the weather.

NOTE: The last mile of the road to Smoky Sunrise is hard-packed gravel. The first 1/3 of this road is fairly steep and can be rough depending on recent weather. 4-wheel or front-wheel drive is recommended.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel at least 60 days before your planned arrival, your payment will be refunded less a $35 administration fee. If you cancel with less than 60 days notice, AND the house is re-rented, your payment will be refunded minus the $35 administration fee.
