The name Awesome View is no boast.  From the front deck you can see for 30 miles, across range after range of Smoky Mountains.  High above Maggie Valley, this vacation rental is sure to please.  The log house will sleep six comfortably in two big bedrooms and the sleeping loft. One king bed.  One queen.  Two twins.  Two full baths.  Hot tub.  Garage parking for one vehicle.  At 4,700 feet above sea level, the air is cool and dry.  Beat the heat in the Smoky Mountains of Maggie Valley, NC.  Game tables in the loft let you have some fun and enjoy the view at the same time. Twenty minutes to Maggie Valley.  Twenty minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway.  Thirty minutes to Waynesville, NC.  Thirty minutes to Cataloochee Ski Resort and Horse Ranch; Thirty minutes to Harrah’s Casino, Cherokee gambling.  Fifty-five minutes to Asheville, NC, where the Biltmore House is.    Day trips include Nantahala and Ocoee white water rafting; Grandfather Mountain; Lake Lure; Hot Springs; Biltmore House, and much more.

Linens and towels are provided. Just bring paper products and soap. Small pets under 25 pounds are allowed. No smoking.

NOTE: The last mile of the road to Awesome View is gravel. The first 1/3 of this road is steep and can be rough (bumpy not muddy) depending on recent weather.  This access road is not suitable for trailers.

Reservation Information

Call today and make your reservations, time is running out! Reservations are held for one week, allowing time for receipt of your deposit. The balance of your payment must be received at least 20 days before your arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel at least 60 days before your planned arrival, your payment will be refunded less a $35 administration fee. If you cancel with less than 60 days notice, AND the house is re-rented, your payment will be refunded minus the $35 administration fee.
